Weltschmerz bei Vollmond

Weltschmerz bei Vollmond

Ein Lichtlein ganz klein und doch hell und beständig
einst schien und erhellte das Herz und Gemüt.

Doch schattende Zweifel, unheilig Gedanken

The lonely Bard

The Lonely Bard

Songtext, noch unverwendet

verse I
when worlds collide
when answers hide
when the glowing star
gloats from a far

verse II
the goal is clear
but far from near
the way is lost
unsure the cost

chorus I
and waterfalls of fireflies
are drowning in the eye
and thunderclouds of loneliness
are buried in the sky

when waterfalls of fireflies
are drowning in the eye
then butterflies in barren lands
over withering flowers cry

until they die

verse III
when songs of joy
seem all too coy
and the lonely bard
feels the piercing shard

verse IV
when comfort peaks
yet trouble speaks
into the soul
lost is the goal

chorus
and waterfalls of fireflies
are drowning in the eye
and thunderclouds of loneliness
are buried in the sky

when waterfalls of fireflies
are drowning in the eye
then butterflies in barren lands
over withering flowers cry

until they die

Mindless Void

Songtext für Tendonitis – Mindless Void

verse I
witness the all seeing eye
in peril and disgrace
harvest in your conscious lies
the truth beyond it’s face

verse II
read the papers hear the songs
of panic and deceit
the sovereign, long forgotten still
struck blind by hate and greed

chorus
end the silence of ignorant bliss
and don’t you dare deny
open your mind and break the spell
heed absolution’s cry

focus all your strenght within
an endless thunderstorm
fight the shadows oppressive touch
or hope will soon be gone

verse III
banish the insanity
of systems wrought to rule
snap out of all the mindless voids
hypnotic, vain and cruel

verse IV
creative thrived the mind of man
beyond the wheels of time
yet now consumed the spirit dies
beneath the silver dime

chorus
end the silence of ignorant bliss
and don’t you dare deny
open your mind and break the spell
heed absolution’s cry

focus all your strenght within
an endless thunderstorm
fight the shadows oppressive touch
or hope will soon be gone
